no such thing as try.” – Yoda Master.
If you have watched Star Wars before,
you’ll know who Yoda Master is.

When I was given a task to complete
during my job employment days, I’d say,

“I’ll try, boss.”

You can’t try.

My friend, there’s no such thing as try.

It’s either you do it, or not.

That’s it.

Let’s examine…

Ok, try to read this article now.

Nope.

You didn’t try.

Why not try harder?

Ok, let’s try to do it again.

Try reading.

Sorry, you failed again.

You’re reading. You’re not trying to
read. You’re DOING IT.

Or you don’t.

But in this case, you are otherwise
you wouldn’t be reading this sentence.

Many people try to be wealthy.

Many people try to be happy.

Many people try to be more loving.

Many people try to achieve their goal.

Many people just… TRY.

I’m going to sound harsh…

FORGET ABOUT TRYING!

Here’s a simple action plan for you:

Step #1 – Evaluate your options available.

Step #2 – Make a strong decision whether
you want to do it or not.

Step #3 – Do it. (Or don’t)

Step #4 – See and evaluate the outcome.

Step #5 – Learn from your action.

The steps above that I’ve laid out for you,
are worth thousands of dollars. Just follow
that action plan and you’ll see how much
more you’ll accomplish in life.

So if you want to change, CHANGE.

Don’t try to change. That’s sissy talking.

Do it for your own future.

Bruce Lee once said,

“Life is never stagnation. It is a constant
movement, unrhythmic movement, as well
as constant change. Things live by moving
and gain strength as they go.”

Prepare to change. I’ve changed the way
how to manage a business. If I was still
doing it the way I used to do 5 years ago,
I think I’d be broke and wouldn’t even
know what happened.

If I was treating my new girlfriend how I
used to treat my previous ex-girlfriend,
I think we would have broken up by now.

I know you can do it. You don’t need
to try anymore.

How An Online Member Only Forum Helped Me Grow My Internet Marketing Business

Compared to some players, my own ‘online internet marketing success’ is small, no, tiny. I’m just a remote speck of distant sand in the giant sandpit of life. But, actually, there are some things I’ve learnt that may help you.

One thing I’ve noticed about Internet marketing is that sometimes we forget just how far evolved we’ve come. If you’re anything at all like me you may be so ‘into’ what you do that the actual ‘act of doing’ overwhelms all other things.

In fact… you actually may not be really aware of how successful you have become!

(Until you start noticing other people treating you differently online and wanting your opinion – or help, on certain matters!)

Of course success is ultimately what you make it out to be. It’s your call, and your own ‘personal goals achieved’ will equal what success means to you.

But as we head towards our own success story, one thing in particular stands out for its importance. This is the power of networking, or using a mentor, (or mentors). You see, when you’re starting out, you always have lots of questions. It’s natural that you’ll have questions, especially when you’re starting, or working on, new online (internet marketing) projects.

And as far as I know, there exists no complete, all in one blueprint, that can answer your own unique, individual questions. It’s just that everyone has their own way of doing things. We all have a different approach.

And if you’re working with Internet or affiliate marketing, very often it’s just you and your computer, and some late nights trying to work some very frustrating stuff out! Sure, there are people who can help you, but more often than not, they’re not the people around you!

This is where the beauty of mentors comes in. This can also be in the form of a members only forum where you get to know the other members, and can really trust and rely on their judgement and suggestions.

Yes, such forums can be quite costly. This is because they provide such great value… you get a level of guidance that is usually from people who have achieved their own levels of excellence and have a clearer idea of the big picture. In other words, they usually know what you need to do next!

As a current member of The Internet Marketing Inner Circle (TIMIC), (http://InnerCircleMemberMartinHurley.com) I’m finding the level of support, ‘inside knowledge’ and wise guidance is having a powerful effect on my own internet marketing lifestyle.

(Just look at how this blog has evolved!)

As a quick example, working together as a complete team, we recently brainstormed an idea, evolved this into a working product, and then started to actually market this product online. This product was a simple ebook titled “20 ways to make $100 a day online.”

Not only has this ‘group product’ been a huge success, but I get to promote the ’20 Ways’ ebook myself and earn a 100% commission which is a great motivator. And by being part of the ‘making’ of this info-product, it’s become all the more special to me.

I’d never get to experience the ‘inside know-how’ to how a group product gets created from the ground up, is nurtured and perfected, and finally released to a willing audience… had I not been part of this member-only forum.

Plus I bask in the knowledge that I can drop in right now to my own ‘Inner Circle‘ forum and get helpful, constructive answers to any Internet marketing questions I have.

And as long as I am driven to keep asking questions, and stay confident, no matter how ‘far-out’ my questions may seem, then I will travel the road to success with an ever-present smile on my friendly Internet marketer’s face…

It’s great to see the level of enthusiasm for the “20 Ways to 100 a day” ebook promotion…

I do think it’s something that will improve your life, and as I was part of the ‘making’ of it, it’s a little more special to me.

You know that you could easily take the ’20 ways to 100 a day’ and think about how to adapt the ideas within to your own business…

That’s what I’m doing anyway.

Actually… I recently I got super-inspired… and set a goal to raise the gold (income) for a “working holiday” with a ‘top Internet marketer’ in New Zealand, next year…

Affiliate Profits And Honorable Mentions

Just wanted to let you know about this, as there’s a nice lesson in it.

Bob the teacher, from Squidoo Secrets, recently offered…

I’m sure you know how powerful a visual image (video), with sound (and maybe some text too) can be…

Anyway, what I did was create a simple 4 minute video (just talking to my iMac, using iSight), put it on my blog (see below), uploaded it, and posted a short note and url at Bob’s Affiliate Profits win the scholarship blog…

You can use the same process with YouTube. (I plan to do this with the $100 a day book, when the ‘mood’ is right).

Seriously, you can have a 2 minute video done on the spur of an idea, talk it into your computer, upload to YouTube, and have (if it’s especially funny or unique) people clicking through to your URL within 30 minutes…

$100 is a nice, even figure to aspire towards, don’t you think?

Let me tell you a little story…

Lately, I worked on and contributed towards my
