Just wanted to let you know about this, as there’s a nice lesson in it.

(Not that there were huge numbers of entries, but doing it a bit different was sure to help).

I’m sure you know how powerful a visual image (video), with sound (and maybe some text too) can be…
Anyway, what I did was create a simple 4 minute video (just talking to my iMac, using iSight), put it on my blog (see below), uploaded it, and posted a short note and url at Bob’s Affiliate Profits win the scholarship blog…

You can use the same process with YouTube. (I plan to do this with the $100 a day book, when the ‘mood’ is right).
Seriously, you can have a 2 minute video done on the spur of an idea, talk it into your computer, upload to YouTube, and have (if it’s especially funny or unique) people clicking through to your URL within 30 minutes…

I’ve had 165+ viewers this week, that’s a LOT for me, and this shows us the potential of this approach… (And perhaps you could create a ‘funny’ (affiliate) video for your own ‘affiliate products’ too…
